John Dramani Mahama
Former President John Dramani Mahama is in Johannesburg, South Africa, to attend two world conferences on energy, trade and investment.
Mr. Mahama is the keynote speaker of the Power & Electricity World Africa 2019 event, which will begin Tuesday, and will engage with a rally of energy industry stakeholders. The former president will share his ideas on overseeing "several gigantic infrastructure construction projects from the top, what is fueling an infrastructure development plan and how can it"? Should Africa take steps to develop new electricity infrastructure?
Power & Electricity World Africa is the largest and longest running conference and exhibition on energy and electricity in Africa and is in its 22nd year as a meeting place for the African energy sector.
On Wednesday, President Mahama will join the guests at the 9th World Trade and Investment Conference on Trade and Investment and address the theme "Achieving Sustainable Global Economic Growth and Equitable Resource Allocation".
The round table, created in 2009, has 82 member countries and is a professional and global networking platform. The congress will run from Wednesday to Friday.
