According to a report from Dailyguidenetwork.com, the NDC administration has disbursed 80% of the contract amount.

The decision to terminate the contract was communicated to the government on February 18, 2019.
With a contract of $ 280 million for only 600 units, this means that each unit was built at an estimated cost of about $ 467,000.
The administration of Akufo-Addo decided to spend more money to carry out the project by borrowing or spending the taxpayer's money.
