Join us in celebrating # 100DaysToEurovision

It’s a big week for Eurovision fans around the world as we approach # 100DaysToEurovision.

The month of May is fast approaching and although the next Competition has felt light years away at times, as of Thursday 11 February there are only 100 days left until the Grand Final of the Eurovision Song Contest.

We know you’ll want to celebrate it with us, so here’s what you can expect this Thursday:

Launch of the official Eurovision TikTok channel

Last year, TikTokkers danced giddily to the hits of Little Big, Daði Freyr and The Roop, and there’s no doubt that the 2021 contest will generate its own viral thrills.

Be sure to download the TikTok app and follow @Eurovision for exclusive content from our current competitors and the Eurovision archive when our channel launches this week. You won’t want to miss any of the entertainment as we make our way to Rotterdam.

On Twitter, we’ll mark the countdown to the contest with a special hashflag that appears every time you use the hashtag: # 100DaysToEurovision.

On Thursday, we will ask the artists the question “What does Eurovision mean to you?” and sharing their responses on our Instagram and Twitter accounts.

We also want to hear from you!

Share those special memories, whether it’s a shaky video of you living your best life for Spirit in the sky in a karaoke bar, or a healthy photo of you and your family preparing a smörgåsbord for the 2016 grand finale. Maybe you can sum up the meaning of the Eurovision Song Contest in one emoji? Good luck with that.

Let us know what Eurovision means to you and don’t forget to use # 100DaysToEurovision because we will also present the reflections of the fandom.

A surprise from the Netherlands

As if all that weren’t enough, we’ve got some extra special treat live from Rotterdam on Thursday at 7:00 p.m. CET on the contest’s official YouTube channel. Details to be revealed shortly.

So free up space in your calendars and follow us on TikTok, Twitter, Instagram and, of course, Facebook (uh, oh, oh).
