It's time to take a look at the new Joker movie.
The first trailer of the movie Joker, starring Joaquin Phoenix as the clbadic villain of DC Comics, tells the story of him, and Batman will only appear as the child Bruce Wayne.
The film will follow troubled comedian Arthur Fleck (Phoenix) who turns into a psychotic criminal brain after feeling completely rejected by society.
Joker will also perform Robert De Niro, an Oscar winner, as a talk show host and Frances Conroy as Arthur's mother, Penny Fleck.
The film will be directed by Todd Phillips, who is known for his humorous work on Road Trip, Old School, Starsky & Hutch, The Hangover trilogy, Due Date and War Dogs.
He won an Oscar for his screenplay for Borat.
Hangover star Bradley Cooper is a producer of the film.
The lost actor, Brett Cullen, will portray Batman's father, Thomas Wayne, as a billionaire philanthropist in the Gotham mayoral race.
Meanwhile, Night Manager actor Douglas Hodge will embody the Waynes' loyal hotel master, Arthur Pennyworth.
The Deadpool 2 actress, Zazie Beetz, will also be the female star of the film as a cynical single mother, Sophie Drummond.
The film stands out from DC's extensive universe that debuted with Man of Steel and has recently continued with artists like Aquaman and Shazam !, critically acclaimed.
The universe will develop again next year with Birds of Prey (and the fantastic emancipation of Harley Quinn) and his sequel, Wonder Woman 1984.
Joker will be released in UK theaters on October 4, 2019.
