Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are no longer a separated married couple and can now declare themselves officially exes.
According to court documents obtained by The Blast, the artists formerly known as Brangelina filed a divorce judgment Friday that restored their status as single.
As noted, Pitt and Jolie have decided to negotiate a two-step decision, which essentially ends the marriage, but allows them to continue working on a final settlement agreement for badets and custody.
Sources close to the stars told us that they felt it was important to "live their lives" and that they needed to separate emotionally from each other.
We were told that the rush to single status was not related to new relationships, but Pitt and Jolie were firmly convinced of the move.
Now, they must continue to negotiate the end of the divorce, which will probably take several months to divide millions of dollars in badets and to impose a permanent custody order on their six children.
