According to Jordan Henderson, Liverpool has learned a painful lesson and is now ready to face the two biggest football fronts.
The Reds suffered a hangover during their run to the Champions League final last year, losing 10 points in the Premier League immediately after their Euro matches from the last 16 games.
A rehearsal would destroy their hopes of winning the title this time, while Manchester City was already leading the difference in goals, but the skipper is adamant and his team will not miss anything.
"I think we have enough teams to face matches as they arrive quickly and quickly," he said.
"It's up to us to keep playing, no matter the competition. We will give everything and just be mentally ready for the next few months. "
Henderson hinted that last week's training camp in Marbella put a strong emphasis on the team's mentality and attitude to stay on top of the game after busy European nights.
There is no doubt that the opportunities in a remarkable race until the final of the Champions League eliminated him from training last season and asked if there was meetings in Marbella to discuss, Henderson replied with a smile:
And he added, "That's why Marbella has been such an important week for us, to prepare ourselves."
Asked about the pressure speech that seems to have surrounded Liverpool's fight with City in recent weeks, he explained.
"Whatever is said outside, you can not get into all of this, for us, it's a matter of focusing on the next game, we're in a good spot by the minute, so hope to do a good show.
"We are as we always are and we enjoyed going to work every day with a smile.
"We made a joke, but as soon as we move to the training field, the work is tough and we focus on what we need to do and it is very serious. That's how it should be.
Henderson said he was ready to play a hundred percent if necessary against Bayern, but manager Jurgen Klopp seems certain to be able to replace Fabianho in place of Dejan Lovren, who could be on the bench.
