JAntonio Reyes, the former Arsenal and Sevilla striker, has died as a result of a 35-year-old road accident, Sevilla announced on Saturday.
"We could not announce any worse news.Our dear young player, Jose Antonio Reyes, died as a result of a road accident.Relax in peace," said a statement on the official Twitter account of Seville.
Reyes played for the Spanish second division club Extremadura for the last time. He has also played for Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, among other teams and the national team of Spain.
