Jose Antonio Reyes, former Arsenal and Spain footballer, died in a car accident at the age of 35, announced Sevilla.
"We could not confirm a worse news. The beloved star of Seville, José Antonio Reyes, died in a traffic accident. Rest in peace, "tweeted the Spanish club. No other details have been announced by the club.
Reyes played in Extremadura after an eight-year career in Seville and stays at Atlético and Real Madrid. The winger was part of the Arsenal team in 2003-04 who completed an unbeaten Premier League season and won 21 international caps for Spain.
