Arsenal director Josh Kroenke responded to a recent letter signed by 16 fan groups criticizing the club's ownership and leadership.
The letter, which was a collaborative effort among the groups, decried the club's status and urged them to reconsider the current business and sport model.
S addressing the Mirror, Kroenke, the owner's son, Stan Kroenke, said, "For me, on a personal level, I'm not sure how to approach my pbadion. Anyone who knows me knows how much I am pbadionate about the Arsenal football club.
"Is it hard to take? Absolutely. But I'm not in this business of making friends, I have to win .If someone ever questions something about our property – what I consider as a guard, supporters trust us to be the repository of values - that's what we try to do: we try to win while respecting the values and traditions of the club.
"I was there in Baku on behalf of KSE [Kroenke Sports & Entertainment], my father and my family. I was on the sideline, on the sideline, for second place.
"I saw the face of our coach, our players and all our staff. I felt and saw what they felt. I felt the same way.
"The most important thing to be on the ground is to understand that there is a resolution out there. There are people who are also pretty upset that we have abandoned this last game. This resolution should serve us well.

Speaking about improvements that the club has already made to the management structure, Kroenke continued: "The last piece of the puzzle, like Raul [Sanllehi, Arsenal’s head of football] said so elegantly in the statement a few weeks ago, was our technical director at Edu.
