Juan Mata and Ander Herrera leaving Man Utd "would not be the end of the world": Gary Neville

Gary Neville has identified the four players Manchester United would be ready with this summer.

Manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is expected to bring in four or five players this summer, while the Norwegian is looking to score his team, having made no changes in January.

Aaron Wan-Bissaka and Jadon Sancho would be on his radar.

But that means players will show up at Old Trafford – with big questions about the future of Juan Mata and Ander Herrera.

The contracts of the Spanish pair are exhausted at the end of the season and there has been no new agreement.

And Neville admitted that he would have no problem with Mata, Herrera and two other players allowed to go.

He told Sky Sports: "There are a lot of players that Ole has to make a decision on. Is it a big loss if Darmian leaves? I do not think it's the end of the world.

It's a big loss if Antonio Valencia leaves? He had injury problems, I think United needs a new back straight. Ashley Young, he'll be fine for another 12 months.

"I think Mata and Herrera are interesting people in regards to the club's approach.

"I think they will be players wanted by other clubs. For me, it would not be the end of the world if they both left.

United will face Barcelona in their first leg of the Champions League quarter-final on Wednesday night.
