Jurgen Klopp condemns Mohamed Salah's "disgusting" abuses and sends an important message about racism in football

Jurgen Klopp criticized the "disgusting" abuses of Liverpool winger Mohamed Salah, committed by a small number of Chelsea fans.

The London club has prevented three supporters from entering the stadium for their Europa League match with Slavia Prague on Thursday night after streaming online a video showing them chanting "Salah is a kamikaze".

Chelsea, who has described the officials as "embarrbaded", is trying to identify the other three fans in the film.

Salah, who has already been abused over his Muslim religion, is expected to face his former club in Anfield on Sunday afternoon.

"It's disgusting," Klopp said. "This is another example of what should absolutely not happen. We should not see this as a Chelsea or Liverpool affair.

"It's another sign that something is wrong outside. Only a few people do it. But the stronger the reactions of others, the more likely they will help to avoid situations of this kind in the future.

"It also happens in other parts of life, but these guys were football fans. If you do something like this, you should not be able to enter a stadium, from my point of view, into your life.

"It's just a total misunderstanding of what life should be like. Some people think they are more valuable than others. This is the biggest misunderstanding in the world.

"Football is the best example of how different races can work together brilliantly. Go in any dressing room and you will find them sitting together and no one cares where you are coming from. This is never a problem.

"These people should no longer be allowed to be part of the football community. Football has a strong voice and we have to use it to show that we all think the same way – things like that are not allowed. "
