The Premier League will make a comeback this weekend after a weekend of action in the FA Cup.

Only Manchester City, out of the three teams contending for the Premier League title, is scheduled to play an England Cup game by eliminating 4-1 from the stubborn Newport County club at Rodney Parade.

Liverpool and the Spurs have both left the FA Cup earlier than expected, respectively against the Wolves and Crystal Palace, placing the Premier League and the Champions League at the forefront of their priorities.

It was the Reds who started last weekend, putting pressure on their rivals with a 4-0 demolition of Bournemouth Saturday at noon, although the Spurs and City did the same with victories on Sunday.

This weekend, it is the Spurs who can put the pressure.

Mauricio Pochettino's men will face Burnley at Turf Moor on Saturday at the kick off.

Liverpool will travel to Manchester United on Sunday as the two teams play their match against City, who will play in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday.

And the Reds boss, Jurgen Klopp, hopes to give his players the lead in the title race by taking their players into warm weather training.

Liverpool was in Marbella a few days before his clash between the Champions League and Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Klopp said: "You have the pace and keep up the pace or have what we had and take a short break.

"We had to work on a lot of tactical things, we tried tactical work and fitness and we needed time to get some players back.

"We did not really think about the break."
