Justin Bieber spoke of a time he felt ‘confused and angry’ after being arrested for driving under the influence in Miami seven years ago.
The 26-year-old singer posted photos of his arrest along with a lengthy post about how he recovered from this difficult time.
“Seven years ago today, I was arrested, not my best time. I am not proud of my situation in my life. I was hurt, unhappy, confused, angry, misled, misunderstood and angry with God, ”he wrote.
In 2014, songwriter and singer Baby Khalil were both arrested in the wee hours of the morning on suspicion of street racing.
They were subsequently charged with driving under the influence and resisting arrest, among other offenses; a toxicology report was subsequently released confirming that Bieber had both Xanax and THC in his system during the incident.
Justin admitted that his faith has played a major role in his maturation since the incident and why he still firmly believes in God.
