The JUVENTUS leader, Fabio Paratici, told Maurizio Sarri that he was not the only one to be appointed to the head of the team.
Sarri told Chelsea that he wanted to leave the club this summer if Juve's takeover bid came up.
The Italian champions have long discussed the question of whether the boss of the Blues is the right man to succeed Max Allegri.
And the 60-year-old, who had just led Chelsea to victory in the Europa League last week, is eager for the change to be finalized.
But Sarri will probably not be too pleased by an interview given today by the sports director of Juve, Paratici, about what is happening to the old lady.
Paratici was arrested by reporters while attending a conference and asked a series of questions about Juventus on and off the pitch.
NO TIME LIMIT
And he insisted that Sarri was not the only name considered for the most prestigious position in the country.
Paratici said: "We have very clear ideas and we are working in. It takes a while, we have a whole range of coaches, there is not a single name.
"How long will it take, there is no time limit, we work very calmly."
The manager was then questioned that Sarri had told Chelsea that he wanted to return to Italy.
He added: "Nostalgia for Italy? He said it, but all Italians say it.
"Here the food is very good."
Chelsea is in a position where he does not actively want to transfer Sarri after a year at Stamford Bridge which has allowed him to win a third place and to win the Europa League success.
But they will not prevent him from leaving, provided that Juve gets 5 million pounds in compensation.
The Blues are looking for substitutes if Sarri were to leave, with Frank Lampard topping the list despite having only one year of leadership in Derby.
