Juventus fans dream to sign Neymar of Paris Saint-Germain, said Gianluca Zambrotta.
PSG confirmed that Neymar wanted to leave the champions of Ligue 1 after a superb return to Barcelona.
But Juve would also be interested in the Brazilian superstar, who missed his country Copa America triumph with an ankle injury.
An offer including cash, as well as Blaise Matuidi and Paulo Dybala, could be offered to the PSG for Neymar, who must participate in the closing trip of the French club in China.
Such an agreement would ensure that Neymar and Cristiano Ronaldo would be in attack and, although Zambrotta accepts the transfer, could be tricky, the former Bianconeri star thinks that Juventus fans want to see him arrive.
"Juve fans and Italian fans in general dream to see Neymar in Serie AZambrotta told Omnisport at the Riccione event for this year's Bobo Summer Cup.
"After Cristiano Ronaldo, it would be another great marketing move for Italian football. With Neymar, Juve would be in the top five of the biggest clubs in the world. The Juve brand would develop mbadively in the world.
"It will not be easy, but I also see that the possible return of Neymar to Barcelona is difficult, although there have been many famous returns in the recent history of football, the latest being that of [Gianluigi] Buffon at Juventus after a short time at PSG, I also remember that Kaka and Shevchenko returned to AC Milan. Paul Pogba has also been badociated with a return to Juventus. Midfielder Mino Raiola confirmed that the World Cup winner wanted to leave Manchester United.
Gianluigi Buffon, Aaron Ramsey and Adrien Rabiot have already joined the team of Maurizio Sarri for free transfers, while an initial amount of 75 million euros had been spent to hire Ajax captain, Matthijs de Ligt.
"Juve still has big names on their shopping list," added Zambrotta. "If they want to be competitive in Europe and ultimately win the Champions League after so many years, they have to spend a lot of money and keep looking for the best players. As they did with Cristiano Ronaldo last summer.
"They have already invested a lot in young promising players, like De Ligt Pogba would probably give Juve the advantage on the European stage. Times have changed compared to 15 years ago. Football has changed a lot.
"Juventus is investing for the long term in young players born in 1999 and 1998, for example Merih Demiral, who has a promising future, and De Ligt, 19, who has already proved his worth in Ajax.
"Juventus had to invest in the defenders because they relied on [Giorgio] Chiellini who does not rejuvenate, despite its reliability, [Leonardo] Bonucci is not young either, [Andrea] Barzagli has just retired, so Juve had to sign an excellent defender. "
