People are terrified. Fears are growing. People are selling everything to get out of the country by any means – as soon as they can by any means.
They are desperate and they all see no future here. People believe civil war is likely to take place and are worried about a new wave of killings by ISIS.
You can see the justice and the desperation in everyone’s eyes.
If you go to the internet cafe, it is inundated with [people registering for] Visas for India and Pakistan.
There is no security, the schools are not functioning and the entire government system is blocked.
Employees do not return to their jobs for fear of reprisals and people who have worked with foreign nationals like me [are] account [the] moments.
You can see chaos in all parts of the city. There aren’t too many people like before. You can’t see the women walking down the street. You can’t see the men wearing jeans. People barely breathe here.
