The Kaizer Chiefs have officially unveiled their fifth signing of the current transfer window of young defenseman Yagan Sasman, who joins Ajax Cape Town of the National First Division (NFD).
The versatile 23-year-old has been training with Amakhosi for weeks. This is the first rookie with PSL experience, having played 16 times for the Urban Warriors before they are relegated to second place.
His departure from the mother city was confirmed Wednesday, as he joined the Glamor Boys for a three-year contract after playing for Ajax since his childhood.
"The Kaizer Chiefs have signed a three-year contract with Yagan Sasman," Chiefs revealed via his Twitter account.
"Sasman joins the Glamor Boys of Ajax Cape Town, where he has spent the last 12 years.
"The defender, aged 23, can play in the rear left and center rear positions."

Kaizer Chefs tackle the problem of the left-back with a new signature
The defense was a problem for the leaders, especially on the left side, and was evident in the Carling Black Label Cup's lineup of the club, where supporters opted for a predominantly center-backed player.
It was in the absence of Happy Mashiane, who can operate on either side, Siphesakhe Ntiyantiya being the only regular member of the first team at the available position.
Yagan Sasman is about to compete with Mashiane and Ntiyantiya for a starting spot, as well as Letlhohonolo Mirwa, who played no role in the club's last campaign.
Yagan Sasman has one among the newcomers of Amakhosi
Although he is relatively inexperienced compared to the rest of the players brought by the club in the current window, Yagan Sasman has the advantage of having played in the local high volley before.
During the 2017/18 season, where Ajax Cape Town was relegated in a controversial manner, the young player played 12 times in the league and played in four cup matches. He made a goal by contributing to the 3-0 demolition of his former club over the fierce Chiefs rival Orlando Pirates.
Unlike Sasman, neither Kearyn Baccus nor Lazarous Kambole nor Samir Nurkovic nor James Kotei had any PSL experience.
The Kaizer Chiefs begin the new season with a trip to Thembisa to face Highlands Park at Makhulong Stadium on Sunday.
The kickoff is given at 15:00.
