The Cameroonian opposition leader, Maurice Kamto, who was reportedly ousted from the presidency in last year's parliamentary elections, has been accused of "rebellion" and "insurgency", said Wednesday one of his lawyers.
The former minister was arrested in Douala, the economic capital, late last month.
The prosecutor's office of the Yaoundé Military Court has lodged a complaint against Kamto during the night, lawyer Emmanuel Simh said, adding that 28 of his supporters were also indicted.
