She said the project was Karpowership's own way of saying goodbye to the Tema community, which had hosted it for three years, as the company was feverishly preparing to move its 470 MW power to the naval base. from Sekondi next month to use native natural gas in the western enclave.

She explained that the people of Tema had been continuously supporting their operations since their inception in 2015 and that they had been their home thanks to the hospitality offered by the community.
