The 45-year-old actress posted an update confirming this news on her Instagram account early Sunday morning (Jan. 27).

"A torn ovarian cyst really hurts and morphine makes me cry. I am so grateful to all who took care of me # wobbly❤️, "she said.
A few days before hospitalization (January 24th), Kate was seen taking a pose on the purple carpet at Opening night of the 2019 opening night of the LA Art Show in Los Angeles.
