Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge and Prince William have three royal children and their youngest, Prince Louis, had his first birthday in April. The Cambridge family was strong for Trooping the Color and the little Louis seemed to hold the essential of his parents' attention. Prince George, five years old, and Princess Charlotte, three years old, stood conscientiously in front of the balcony, while William and Kate took turns to hold Louis behind them. While George and Charlotte have shone brightly over the years, it now seems to be Prince Louis's turn to steal the show.
In May, the toddler was photographed in a wild garden that his mother Kate designed for the Chelsea Flower Show.
Prince George and Charlotte were seen playing quietly together while William and Kate focused most of their attention on Louis.
Last Saturday, at Trooping the Color, the same dynamics seemed to exist.

The duke and the duchess held their little boy, still too young to be alone.

As the youngest member of the Cambridge clan, we understand why Louis needs more attention than his brothers and sisters.
But is Louis Kate's favorite child?
One maternity expert says that it is common for parents to be very interested in the youngest because they want to "give birth to them as long as possible".
Victoria Jennings, maternity expert and founder of Bloom's baby clbades, told Express.co.uk, "As a mother of three, I fully understand what it looks like if Prince Louis is the favorite child of Kate Middleton.
"As a parent, things happen in no time and you want to feed the youngest child as long as possible; this was certainly the case with me and my youngest daughter. "
Mrs. Jennings explained that Kate and William would probably be more relaxed with their third child, Louis, once parents.
She said, "I think that when you become a mother for the first time, there is so much to do and it can be both happy and overwhelming, but from your third child, you are more confident and have really found your pace.
"You just want to give birth to the third child as long as possible, especially if you think it will be your last."
She added that having three children means that Kate will act constantly with caution.
She said, "I'm sure Kate is no different from all mothers because she loves all her children and she would do anything for them.
"However, there is very little of it and there is always trouble keeping them happy and safe at the same time."
Kate clearly adores her three children, and it was reported that she was "very skinny" after the birth of Meghan's first baby and Prince Harry.
Mrs. Nicholl told Entertainment Tonight, "William is on the moon that his brother is a father. Kate is very skinny. She likes to be with newborns. "
