"I said," Would you like a drawing? "And she was like"Yes, if you do not mind, "said Shajida Begum, the designer of the black flower. "She said it was really pretty. I told him just how it works. I told her when she can wash it – I said "when it gets flaky".

Henna tattoos are made with a natural dye and last from one to four weeks.

Many wondered if William had managed to get this tattoo if he would have broken any protocol or tradition. The answer is no, because members of the royal family have no rules prohibiting family members from getting ink on their bodies. In fact, some of them have a permanent ink.

Lady Amelia Windsor, the cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, wears several tattoos. The Daily Mail said she had one on each wrist and a tiger on her shoulder.

Other royal families in Europe do not seem to have a rule against tattooing, as Princess Sofia of Sweden, Crown Prince Frederik of Denmark and Princess Stephanie of Monaco all wear tattoos.
