The Duchess of Cambridge offered her children a half-day swim treat at a luxury spa last week.
But still glamorous, Kate was seen in the pool dressed in "makeup, earrings with pearls and her iconic engagement ring," revealed an observer.
Despite claims that their family had gone skiing during the week, the Duchess and her two eldest, five-year-old Prince George and three-year-old Princess Charlotte, actually slipped into a luxury hotel complex in Norfolk – which the Mail is not named for security reasons – Tuesday afternoon.
The two children would have spent their holidays at Anmer Hall, the Cambridge Manor in Queen's Sandringham.

Her youngest child, Prince Louis, was apparently left at home with her husband, Prince William, or their nanny.
Dressed in a brown swimsuit, she tried to mingle with relaxing couples, but spectators quickly noticed the family during a half hour session.

Kate, 37, apparently organized swimming races for the kids, then they practiced small dives. The royal trio then went to the sauna and steam room.
A spectator told the Mail: "Kate was beautiful. She had one full when she was in the pool. And she had earrings with pearls and her engagement ring. "Her hair pulled up in a butterfly-type hair clip was extremely elegant."
It was thought that Kate Middleton and William would spend their ski holiday mid-stay, but the duchess and her children were spotted bathing (photo: the royal couple in Norway on official tour in February of the year). ;last year)
The royal fan said George and Charlotte were impeccably wise. "The children behaved very well and both of them practiced their dive aside," they said.
"Kate organized small races for them and they did it four or five times. She said, "Ready, go ahead firmly" and dropped into the water to indicate the start of the race. "
A spectator said that Charlotte (playing at the Beaufort Polo Club) was doing sunsets from the edge of the pool
Apparently, George, of course, won all the races. They said, "He was swimming like a dog at the paddle and he jumps beside a squatting position.
Charlotte was doing sitting dives. She was squatting on her side, her arms raised, in a diving position, she did not stop saying "Look mom, I dive in".
"Kate was very encouraging. At one point, George collapsed and Kate had to catch him, he became a little in tears and clung to her, but he quickly left. "
Neither the little prince nor the little princess wore armbands and were "super confident" in the water.
William and Kate are both good swimmers and are clearly eager to pbad on their water trust to their children.
"The two children swam alone and were very confident," said the source. "They pbaded under the powerful jets in the water. Kate politely asked us if it was ok for them to turn it on.
"They were hopping sideways in his arms. Kate did not move on their side. George asked to go out to use the hot tub, but she answered "no".

"When the kids tried to dive into the water, Kate often said" No ". She then squeezed her finger, then she reported the signs of non-dive to the two children, who then seemed soothed.
"They went to the steam room and the sauna for four or five minutes each. "From my experience, both are generally prohibited to children under 14 years old."
George and Charlotte are back in London today for the start of clbades.
