The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Dundee for their first official joint commitment of the year.
Hundreds of people have walked up and down to face the rain and see the royal couple.
Kate opted for a Alexander McQueen green tartan coat, which she wore on several occasions, including in 2012, when she had visited her former prep school.
She also wore the beautiful ensemble during the Christmas service at Sandringham in 2013.
The couple, who last visited the city in 2015, opens Scotland's first design museum, the V & A Dundee, and welcomes members of the public.
The attraction is the centerpiece of a £ 1 billion transformation of the Dundee waterfront, which was once part of the city's docklands.
William, 36, and Kate, 37, the first royal boss of the V & A, will meet the team that helped create the site, worth £ 80 million, which is of interest to the world whole.
More than 380,000 people have visited the museum since it opened to the public in September. Today, the couple officially declare it open.
It was designed by Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and inspires cliffs from the northeast coast to extend into the Tay River.
Meanwhile, the royal couple should also meet the workers at the Dundee Michelin Tire Plant and join a meeting to discuss plans to redevelop the site and create new job opportunities.
It has been designated for closure and about 850 people are facing redundancy.
Last year, Michelin announced the closure of the plant in the middle of 2020.
Today's visit will reinforce Kate's keen interest in promoting the visual arts and highlight the value that public institutions such as V & A Dundee can offer to local communities, particularly in terms of increased accessibility to art. and world clbad design.

"Through an eclectic program, we aim to inspire people and spark discussion about the role of design in everyone's life."
The museum's Scottish design galleries feature 300 items from the V & A collection, as well as museums and private collections.
It also hosts temporary exhibitions, with the current Ocean Liner: Speed and Style, which runs until February 24th.
