Kate Middleton wears a tartan while she arrives with William in Dundee

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have arrived in Dundee for their first official joint commitment of the year.

Hundreds of people have walked up and down to face the rain and see the royal couple.

The couple, who last visited the city in 2015, opens Scotland's first design museum, the V & A Dundee, and welcomes members of the public.

The attraction is the centerpiece of a £ 1 billion transformation of the Dundee waterfront, which was once part of the city's docklands.
