Several Bollywood actors attended the annual Saraswati puja, directed by director Anurag Basu, at his residence in Mumbai. Katrina Kaif, Abhishek Bachchan, Patralekha, among others, were seen at the puja.
Katrina's pictures, dressed in yellow, were shared online. We can see the actor enter the residence of Basu and take pictures. Other images show her receiving blessings from a "pandit". Abhishek, dressed in a kurta pajamas, was seen chatting with Basu. Abhishek will feature in the director's upcoming film, a play for ensemble starring Rajkummar Rao, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Aditya Roy Kapur, Sanya Malhotra and Pankaj Tripathi.
Katrina, who starred in Basu's box office Jagga Jasoos' ambitious failure, was also seen kissing the director. His old boyfriend Ranbir Kapoor starred in the film, which he also produced.

Patralekhaa, dressed simply in white and arrived with her sister, television actress Ishita Dutta, wore a blue sari, Sakshi Tanwar, who as Katrina wore yellow, Sumona Chakravarti and Asha Negi.

Basu is known for films like Life … In a Metro, Barfi and Jagga Jasoos. His new film, also in the vein of life … In a subway, tells stories that intersect. The filmmaker welcomes the puja every year. Katrina was also present last year when she wore white. Aditi Rao Hydari, Ragini Khanna and Siddharth Roy Kapur were also seen at the puja of 2018.
