New York-based drummer Kazuhiro Odagiri after graduating from the prestigious Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA
Jazz trumpeter Mao Sone, who appeared in the film “Trumpet”, which won the Audience Award at the Short Shorts Film Festival 2021, one of Asia’s biggest short film festivals.
Pianist Shu Kanematsu, who has produced music for numerous television series, films and commercials in Japan.
Ren Yamamoto, who has participated in numerous live and recording sessions in Japan.
Kazu and Kats ~ Be hyped tonight ~
They performed at Absolute Blue in Tokyo, Japan on April 9, 2021.
On June 16, 2021, Office Ayumi LLC (Toshima-ku, Tokyo) released a promotional video of this performance live to the world in English and Japanese.
The video was shot and edited by Shin Watanabe, an aspiring filmmaker and professional drummer.

The performance took place in a 360 degree stage style where the audience surrounds the performers.
Drummer Kazuhiro Odagiri, who moved to the United States about 10 years ago, has been involved in funk, R&B, Cuban, Malagasy and Indian jazz-based music, and was drawn to the uniqueness and the interest of Japanese culture “festival (Matsuri)”.
He grew up in Japan. In 2011, he went to study music in Boston and New York, which gave him a new appreciation for Japan. He and his friends will present their unique music deeply to the world.
