Caroline Flack, host of Love Island 2019, would be unhappy with comments from the host of the show, Kelly Brook.
Kelly was the presenter alongside Patrick Kielty for the very first 2005 Love Island series, which was a celebrity version.
Fearne Cotton replaced her after the inaugural series – but that did not stop her from sharing her perspective on Caroline and her involvement in Love Island.
The 39-year-old radio host said on the air that Caroline Flack was "trying to live" by following in her footsteps, even with whom she was going out.
Speaking in her Heart radio show, Kelly called Caroline "weird" and accused her of having followed in the role of Love Island presenter and even going out with his ex-Danny Cipriani.
Kelly told her listeners, "I can not believe she is doing Love Island and is dating Danny Cipriani.
"I thought, she's just following my life or something, just hang in there, I was the first animator on Love Island, and I was going out with Danny.
"Will she come and start hosting this show next?"
Kelly claimed that she found Caroline's life choices very strange.
"I do not know if she's still with him, but when I look at things like that, I think," That's just weird. It's just weird.
It is alleged that there is no lost love between them, Caroline baduming the duties of head of the organization when Love Island was brought back to our screens in 2015.
A television source told The Sun that Kelly's comments were "unnecessarily tiring and unpleasant" and that it was "well known that Kelly was fired by Celebrity Love Island after the first series".
Since Caroline took the reins of the series, the ITV2 dating series has seen her audience increase every year, the first of 2019 reaching a record high for the start of a series.
Caroline had already had several meetings with English rugby player Danny. She was calling as Caroline headed for the sunny villa.
Kelly had a roller coaster romance with 2008 rugby ace, which earned them a number of ranks before breaking up after giving her number to a Las Vegas stripper.
Kelly has since described their time together as a "car accident".
