Assin Central MP, Kennedy Agyapong, revealed that some influential members of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) are misrepresenting his positions on public affairs to the president.

The MP attributes his decision to mitigate his public statements as a way to let the dogs fall asleep.

According to Agyapong, these influential members of the NPP are aware of his good relations with the president but are not happy with that.

The member revealed this in an interview with his television channel NET 2 Television.

According to Agyapong, these individuals have been in the habit of peddling all kinds of lies about him to President Nana Akufo-Addo.

In his badessment, the intention of their actions is to ruin his long-standing relationship with the President for unknown reasons, which explains why the President has been angry about the many complaints about him.

Agyapong was quoted as follows: "Without the fact that President Akufo-Addo has patience and understanding, they would have ruined relations between us. They continue to lie every day and when it happens at a certain level, he is also fed up. "

"In the PNP, some people, especially those looking to be presidents, know how to gossip and tell lies. They are simply trying to ruin the reputation between me and President Akufo-Addo. "

Although he does not mention the names of those guilty of gossiping about him, he hinted that it was about people who were seeking to succeed Akufo-Addo as a standard-bearer party.
