Kenny Dalglish, legend of Liverpool, made a huge compliment to Andy Robertson.
The Scotsman praised the young man who had not abandoned his dream. He told Liverpool Echo:
"The fact that Andy is where he was just seven years ago – when he was let go by Celtic – has become a clbadic example for any young footballer that no one needs never give up and never stop believing. "
Dalglish then pointed to the fact that Robertson is a role model for young people looking for a future in the sport.
"For the young British players released each year by the big clubs, Andy is a model. He showed what can be accomplished through hard work, perseverance and dedication. "

Robertson crossed the ranks at Parkhead before descending two levels to sign for Queens Park. After a season at Hampden Park, the left-back made his debut at the top of the standings by qualifying for Dundee United.
Good performances in Tanadice led Hull City, then a member of the Premier League, to sign with Robertson for £ 2.85m.
The Scottish international has become a regular Tigers, suffers from relegation and promotion.
