Much has been said about phase four of the Marvel Film Universe, with its Eternals and his Black Widow movie, and in particular her Natalie Portman version of Thor coming in Thor: Love and Thunder. We know that Marvel plans their films very carefully and that's why the original version of Avengers was so successful. The studio had a vision and they realized it. What we did not know was that they had planned so far and were almost ready to announce the fifth phase.
What we know about phase 5
If phase four of the MCU means that their films will arrive in 2020 and 2021, we will know a little more about phase five. We know that Blade Starring Mahershala Ali will come at some point, just as we knew that a third Guardians of the Galaxy would arrive, as there was so much to do to know if James Gunn would run it or not.
Ali, who won Academy Awards for Best Supporting Actress for Moonlight and Green paper, will play the vampire hunter who succeeds in part because he has vampire blood in him but he can still stand the sunlight. Marvel did not say when their version of Blade fate, but we can only badume that it will not be before at least 2022.
However, things can change. Marvel only has two films to his schedule next year: Black Widow in May and The eternals in November. The studio has released three films each year from 2017 to this year. Does this mean that Marvel could change the schedule and place the blade in phase four somewhere?
This seems doubtful. Nothing is known of the film except the title and the star. No screenwriter or director has been announced, so it will probably be necessary to wait a moment before the film is launched.
As for The Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3We are almost sure that this will happen in 2022. Gunn also directs the Suicide team continued, scheduled for August 2021. This almost certainly means guardians will follow in 2022; Gunn confirmed that it will take place after the events of Thor: Love and Thunder.
Marvel turns a lot of plates
