Barcelona ruled Kevin-Prince Boateng out of his match for the La Liga match against Sevilla on Saturday.
The 31-year-old will not be involved in Ramon Sanchez-Pizjuan after his debut against the same team at the Copa del Rey on Jan. 23.
The Barcelona coach, Ernesto Valverde, has announced his composition for the trip and does not include the Ghanaian.
Boateng was ruled out of the Champions League clash Tuesday with Lyon in France.
He has made only one appearance for the team since his loan from Sbaduolo.
