Kevin-Prince Boateng will wear jersey number 19 at the new Barcelona club after making his loan change to Italian Sbaduolo on Monday night.
Boateng, 31, arrives to strengthen the front line of the Barca after the sale of Munir El Haddadi in Seville earlier this month.
The exit of Munir left the La Liga leaders without substitutes for Luis Suarez and coach Ernesto Valverde openly declared that he wished the club to add another coach in January.
After starting his career at Hertha Berlin, in the city where he was born, Boateng, whose brother Jérôme plays for Bayern Munich, stayed in England, Italy, Spain and again in Germany.
After stays in Tottenham, Borussia Dortmund and Portsmouth, he played among the best footballers of his career during his three years in Milan between 2010 and 2013.
Since then he has represented Schalke, Milan (again), Las Palmas, Frankfurt and Sbaduolo, whom he joined last summer. In 15 appearances with the Italians this season, mainly in the role of a center forward, he is impressed, scoring five goals despite a rest injury.
