Kidnapped girls will be reunited in families – Regional Minister

Takoradi, April
5, GNA – Mr. Kwabena Okyere Darko-Mensah, the new Western Regional Minister has
badured the public of the government's willingness to reunite the three kidnapped
girls from Sekondi-Takoradi metropolis with their families.

He noted that
the police had engaged a frenetic search in the last four months in search
the comings and goings of the three girls, adding: "I want to badure all
residents who, along with President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo and the
security agencies, we will definitely bring back the abducted girls. "

The Minister
gave insurance Thursday night upon his arrival at Takoradi airport

The first
victim, Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, third year student at the University

Priscilla
Mantebea Koranchie, 15, first year student at Sekondi College, who
lived with his parents in West Fijai, near Sekondi, was also kidnapped on
December 21, 2018, near Nkroful

Mr. Darko-Mensah,
stated that the safety of people and businesses in the region was essential
