An inhabitant of Kawaworodo, a suburb of Takoradi, in the Western region, was shocked by the relationship of his neighbor, Samuel Udeotuk-Wills, with the abduction of three girls.

"And he's still holding a Bible so you never think he's like that," he added.

Samuel Udeotuk-Wills and John Orji are on trial for the abduction of missing girls from Takoradi.

Nigerians were handed six charges of conspiracy to commit a crime; namely kidnapping and kidnapping.

Samuel, 28, is already serving a 36-month prison sentence for escaping from lawful detention and causing damage to public property after he escaped from prison cells.

For a long time, the suspect had led the investigators in pursuit of the wild goose, but on Friday, the police announced a breakthrough.

Following a search, they confirmed having recovered human remains in a septic tank located on a property previously occupied by the suspect.

With the help of sniffer dogs, the police claim that they were able to recover skulls Friday night in a septic tank in Kasaworodo, a suburb of Takoradi.

The suspect allegedly took the police to the area near the Girls Methodist High School home.

During their investigations, the police learned that the girls were dead and buried in the septic tank located behind the accused's home, the sources said.

Subsequently, they stormed the home of the accused in Kasaworodo, cordoned off the area around 17:30 on Friday and started, with the help of the prison service, to empty the septic tank .

Police said the human remains found would be sent to a forensic science laboratory at the Service for further badysis and investigation.

Priscilla Mantebea Koranchie, 15, Ruth Love Quayson, 18, and Priscilla Blessing Bentum, 21, have been missing for almost a year after their abduction in the metropolis of Takoradi.
