The July PlayStation Plus offer was unexpectedly modified and the Pro Evolution Soccer 2019 football simulation was literally replaced by the latest sci-fi adventure: Become Human in Digital Deluxe Edition. The approach was unexpected and, at the same time, there is nothing they would do systematically at Sony. Unfortunately, any attempt to find the specific reasons is futile, but we learn that, contrary to the initial speculation, it was not Konami's decision.
Konami shrugs, Sony remains silent
At least, that's what Konami said in his statement that Gamespot was able to get it. Lennart Bobzien, PES head for Europe, said that he had announced a change in PS Plus's portfolio in the media and had commented on Gamespot in the following terms: "Sony made this decision, contact -so." there was no regional constraint and the offer is globally valid.
Konami was about to release PES 2019 on PlayStation Plus. This is necessary to not detract from the sales of the next edition of the series, which will be released after the end of the summer. However, such an argument could be applied to virtually any month of the year in an annual game. Some, however, point out that Sony could be removed from the Konami deal because of its collaboration with EA and FIFA.
Sony could say more about it, but it's useless to get the company's statement. Representatives have simply made a generic apology for any inconvenience this change may cause. That's the goal, because Detroit: Becoming human was one of the great attractions of Days of Play's recent reduction, and many players did not have to be excited about this change because they could buy Detroit at a price advantageous.
However, it is certainly not excluded that PES will appear in the PlayStation Plus offer in the future. Whatever it is, if you want to play PES, not just on PlayStation, do not forget that next year will be on the console and on September 10th. And on July 30, the demo will arrive. Leading the next episode, Manchester United will also become a licensed stadium with a detailed model. The most obvious change at first glance is the variation of the name they want in Konami to emphasize the emphasis on esports: eFootball: PES 2020. And this year it will be a purely masculine issue and football feminine, more and more popular in the world present in the game.
