The Vice President called on residents of Saboba and Chereponi to leave their differences aside
Vice President, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, referred to President Akufo-Addo's plan to invite Konkomba and Chokosis leaders to the jubilee house in Accra.
According to the vice president, the invitation of both leaders aims to find a lasting solution to the conflict of Chereponi.
Mr Bawumia said that it was time to consolidate a lasting peace between the two conflicting tribes.
He said the government was determined to keep the peace in Chereponi and Saboba.
The vice president said the government would increase the number of police and military in Chereponi and Saboba, as well as adequate logistics for security.
