Korean Foreign Minister Kang Kyung-wha will pay a two-day visit to Ghana from July 12-13.

In Ghana, she will pay a courtesy call on Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, Vice President, and hold bilateral discussions with Foreign Affairs Minister Shirley Ayorkor Botchwey.

This is the second time that a Korean foreign minister travels to Ghana.

Ban Ki-moon, Prime Minister of Foreign Affairs and former United Nations Secretary-General in 2006, was the first to visit.

Ghana and Korea have long-standing and good relations, and the Government hopes that this visit will strengthen the cordial relations between the two countries.
