Yacouba has failed to score in Kotoko's last four games
Ghana's representatives at the Africa Confederation Cup, Asante Kotoko, need a clinical finisher.
This is the opinion of a former Kotoko coach, Michael Osei, who is not too excited about Kotoko's current attack.
Kotoko hammered Coton Sport from Cameroon for a spot in the group stage of the Africa Confederation Cup on Sunday.
Michael Osei, who watched the Kotoko-Coton Sport return match in Kumasi, insisted that Kotoko should improve immediately.
According to him, Kotoko can own and create good chances, but scoring continues to be the scourge of Kotoko.
"Kotoko can create golden opportunities, but I realized that placing the ball at the back of the net was a problem.
"In this regard, Kotoko must recruit a powerful striker who can score goals to increase his chances in Africa."
Michael Osei, who spoke on the radio, congratulated coach C.K. Akonnor for leading Kotoko to the group stage.
He also said that although the group stage will not be easy, Kotoko can still have a huge impact on the competition.
"Kotoko only needs to work harder and find a clinical finisher to lead them and they will have a big impact."
