The Kumasi-based club will open its accounts with an epic encounter with Al-Hilal in Sudan on Feb. 3.
According to Sudanese news, Al-Hilal could face Kotoko in the evening, which will be in the spotlight.
The Kotoko technical team, led by C.K. Akunnor, does not want the team to suffer during the match against Sudan.
In this regard, Kotoko has planned to train under spotlight in Kumasi before leaving for Sudan.
It was reported that Kotoko would play a friendly match with a lower division club in the spotlight at Baba Yara Stadium on Sunday.
