Some recalcitrant customers who reconnected illegally after the team disconnected them during the operation, again disconnected and received call letters to the office to answer for their illegal actions.
Speaking to the media after the exercise, Ms. Adiko said the Kpando District was determined to help the company deal with the debtors because these constituted a loss of resources.
"We sometimes do revenue mobilization exercises, but we decided to embark on this intensive disconnection exercise by targeting the outstanding debtors. The exercise was aimed at supporting income mobilization in the region and improving the income of the district and the business as a whole, "she said.
Judicious use of power
During the exercise, consumers were sensitized to the judicious use of power to reduce their bills.
Ms. Adiko urged the public to promptly pay her bills, to renounce illegal relationships and to report those involved in such acts, revealing that there was a financial benefit for those who reported people who had committed illegalities.
