Sweets are not on Valentine's shelves, but you can always send a sweet message to your sweetheart with a conversation donut.

Krispy Kreme announced Thursday its range of limited edition holiday treats, featuring a colorful collection of heart-shaped donuts adorned with pastel ice cubes and short phrases in the style of the heart of popular conversation. They include timeless expressions of Sweethearts such as "Love", "Call Me", "Say Yes" and "Crazy 4 U", as well as more trendy options such as "All Feelings," "DM Me" and " So extra ".

Sweethearts lovers mourn the temporary loss of Valentine's favorite after Necco, the company that made candies for more than a century, went bankrupt last year. The company Spangler Candy Co., based in Ohio, bought Necco in May but will not be able to recover the sweets in stores in time for Valentine's Day 2019.

It is not known yet when Sweethearts will return to production, although other brands are producing similar sweets. Spangler CEO Kirk Vashaw told the Associated Press that he wanted to make sure he could meet the expectations of his customers before reintroducing the candy.

The clbadic Krispy Kreme offers four different fillings: cake dough, strawberry, raspberry and chocolate. They will be available at participating stores from January 30th.
