Krzysztof Piatek has joined AC Milan for a £ 31 million contract from Genoa
Krzysztof Piatek has joined AC Milan from Genoa for a four and a half year contract, he was confirmed.
The Milanese club announced Wednesday night that Piatek signed a four and a half year contract until June 2023 allowing him to earn around £ 34,000 a week (£ 1.7 million a year).
The £ 31 million deal provides for Genoa to drop its originally demanded price of $ 36 million, but Milan will have to pay the fees in advance and include add-ons if they finish in the qualifications for the Serie A champions league.
Piatek, to whom shirt number 19 was awarded, will be revealed to the media on Thursday afternoon at 12:00 GMT and will join his new teammates for his first training under the colors of Milan at 15:30.
AC Milan joined the Polish international after Juventus striker Gonzalo Higuain saw his loan contract in San Siro shortened to join Chelsea on loan for the rest of the season.

The 24-year-old Cracovia of Poland joined Genoa for the summer season for £ 3.6m (€ 4m) after scoring 21 goals in 36 appearances during the Ekstraklasa season.
