Former President John Agyekum Kufuor and former South African President Thabo Mbeki have been appointed to the MTN International Advisory Board (IAB).

The IAB will begin on July 1, 2019.

The ICC will be chaired by His Excellency the former President of the Republic of South Africa, Thabo Mbeki, and will consist of the following persons:
• President John Kufuor, former President of Ghana
• Dr. Aisha Abdullahi, former Commissioner for Political Affairs of the African Union
• Dr. Mohammed el Baradei, former director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency
• Dr. Momar Nguer, President of Marketing & Services Total S.A. (France)
• Phuthuma Nhleko, President of MTN Group
