Regional President of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Bosiako, aka President Wontumi, described the Social Justice Coalition (CSJ) protest as a sustaining exercise.

Addressing Kwabena Agyapong on Frontline on Rainbow Radio 87.5Fm, he said the demonstration was an exercise for the participants, recognizing the good governance of President Akufo-Addo, in contrast to the presumed difficulties in the country.

He stated that the demonstration and the statements of the protesters and organizers were unjustified because all the things they claimed were unfounded.

President Wontumi said that since the NPP came into operation, it has created jobs, maintained a robust economy and created an environment conducive to business development.

According to him, many of the promises made to Ghanaians before the December 2016 elections were described by his political opponents as lies and impossibilities.

But the nuclear power plant has managed to keep a number of these promises.

"They told Ghanaians that Free SHS was a lie. They said that the NPP was not restoring stipends for teacher trainees and nursing trainees. They said the revival of the national health insurance scheme was also impossible. But we received trainee benefits, we relaunched the NHIS. "

He said that his government, over the last two and a half years, has had a lot of promises. We have been loyal to Ghanaians and the NDC does not have the moral right to claim that Ghanaians are suffering. "

He stressed that the demonstration was only intended to help the organizers to exercise and lose weight.

Dozens of people took to the streets of Accra Tuesday to support the "Kum yen preko" march organized by the Coalition for Social Justice.

The protest opposed what they described as hardships, insecurity and oppression suffered under the current Akufo-Addo government.

Many protesters were seen dressed in red, with placards carrying various messages in the air to send a strong signal of their dissatisfaction.
