Peace FM broadcaster Kwadwo Dickson confirmed that he had resigned as presenter and news anchor for the station after approximately 18 years of service.
The reports have been making for some time that Kwadwo Dickson, who is also very popular for his commercials for Akan, has left the flagship group of Perso Group.
Since the news came out, there have been many rumors about why well-known news anchor Akan was leaving the station.

To end the many rumors, Kwadwo Dickson posted a video explaining his decision to quit.
In the video seen by YEN.com.gh, the main broadcaster, explained that his contract with the group Despite had ended and that he was not trying to renew it because he wanted to change direction with his career and his life.
He therefore begged his fans not to listen to any rumors not to give any meaning to his intention to leave Peace FM.
Dickson thanked the group's owner, Osei Kwame, and his brother, Ofori Sarpong.

Kwadwo Dickson becomes the third leading broadcaster in Accra to have resigned in the last six months.
Kofi Adoma Nwanwani, the popular news presenter of Adom FM, resigned from the station in November 2018 after more than 10 years.
Two months after the departure of Kofi, another host of Adom FM, Ohemaa Woyeje also resigned.
