Kwame Ayew gets the appointment of a standardization committee

Former Black Stars striker Kwame Ayew is a member of the Standard Committee of the Player Status Committee.

Ayew, the brother of Africa's best African player, Abedi Pelé, is one of three committee members.

Ishak Alhbadan will be the chair of this committee while Ashford Tettey Oku will be his vice.

Sylvester Mensah and Cornelius Otoo are the other members.

The standardization committee, tasked with reforming Ghanaian football before March 31, also made appointments to the arbitration, discipline and appeal committees.

Naa Odofoley Nortey, committee member, chaired by Dr. Kofi Amoah, will chair the Referees Committee, whose members were featured in the documentary that led to the temporary dissolution of the Ghana Football Federation (GFA).

Committee members led by Odofoley are Carl Ashie, Judge Yeboah, Ebo Kwaitoo and Emmanuella Aglago.

Samson Lardy Anyenini will chair the Discipline Committee with Osei Kwadwo Addo as Vice President.

Dr. Kwaku Ofosu Asare, WO1 William Amoo and Nurudeen Alhbadan are its members.

The appeals committee will be chaired by Agbesi Dzakpasu.

He will be badisted by Nana Adjei Baffour Awuah.

There are seven members.

They are Kwaku Afrifa Nsiah, Joe Slovo Tia, Dr. Bella Bello and Yaw Obeng.

The others are Vivian Aggor, Israel Ackah and Kwaku Mortey.

"The members of all committees have received their letter of appointment and have taken office," the committee said in a statement Tuesday.
