Augustine Arhinful, a former Ghanaian international, implored coach Kwasi Appiah not to significantly change the squad that defeated Guinea-Bissau 2-0 in their last Group Cup match. African Nations (AFCON).
According to the former striker of AshantiGold SC, changing a winning team could have negative consequences on the team and therefore advised Kwesi Appiah not to tinker with the selection against the Tunisians of Carthage at the their clash in the round of 16 at Ismailia on Monday.
In an interview with Graphic Sports, the team reached its climax, as was evident in their match against Guinea Bissau and did not expect significant changes to the shock in Tunisia.
"I do not expect many changes from him [Coach Appiah], "Said Arhinful who asked the players to raise their match against Tunisia.
"They have been successful so far. But we can always improve our game in the future, "he said.
According to the former star of Ankaraguku, the team must be more compact in defense, midfield and more effective attack.
He suggested that Kasim Nuhu Adams, absent from the last group show due to a suspension, be reintroduced into the team to reinforce the team's rearguard.

Arhinful asked the Ghana coach to start Afriyie Acquah in the center and deploy captain Andre Ayew to the left of the midfield.
"In midfield, he can move Dede [ayew] on the left and present Afriyie Acquah in the middle, so Thomas Partey will play in front of them. We have to dictate the pace of the game, "he said.
