Kylian Mbappe rants against teammate Neymar moments after being pulled out in Montpellier win

Paris Saint-Germain striker Kylian Mbappe couldn’t hide his frustration despite his side’s 2-0 home win over Montpellier on Saturday.

Idrissa Gueye’s superb strike in the first half and that of Julian Draxler at the end of the match were enough to help the Parisians claim their eighth consecutive victory in Ligue 1 and increase their lead to 10 points.

But Mbappe was caught on camera complaining to Gueye, claiming Neymar didn’t give him the type of pass that led to Draxler’s goal two minutes from time.

According to RMC Sport, Mbappe said: “He (Neymar) is not giving me that pass.”

The 22-year-old has recently come under scrutiny for his antics. Midweek Achraf Hakimi caught a 95th-minute winner against Metz and Mbappe was seen running towards the goalkeeper to taunt him.

Nonetheless, the Parisians are currently in great shape having won all eight league games this season – scoring 22 points and conceding just seven in the process.

But they could do without Lionel Messi for Manchester City visit on Tuesday night

The French team will now face Manchester City in the Champions League on Tuesday night and could do without Lionel Messi.

The 34-year-old injured his knee in the win over Lyon last week and he had to be absent for the last two games. He will be evaluated on Sunday to see if he can play against Pep Guardiola’s side.
