The laboratory results of samples taken from suspects arrested in the murder of Josephine Asante, former director of marketing and public affairs of the Ghana Ports and Harbors Authority (GPHA), appear to be putting the Case waiting.

While the blood and fingerprint laboratory repeatedly lost long delays with the court, expressing frustration at the delays, the prosecution provided further information on the income statement. .

Inspector Beatrice Aryeh, prosecutor of the case, told the TDC District Court that the results were ready; the head of the forensic and scientific laboratory of the Ghana Police Service has not yet affixed his signature on the reports before they can be filed in court.

The prosecutor therefore appealed to the court chaired by Ms. Akosua A. Adjepong to allow them the same time for the results to be signed and made available to the court.

She promised the court that all results would be communicated to her on the next adjournment date, June 27, 2019.

In its ruling, the court ordered that the prosecution expedite the result of sending duplicate documents to the Attorney General's Department for advice on the case.

Until now, the prosecution had filed the post mortem result of the deceased, indicating that no sperm had been found on the deceased and rejecting the statement that the deceased had probably been raped by his killers.

On Saturday, January 12, 2019, Josephine attended the GPHA party for senior executives. She returned home around 1:30 am on Sunday.

After the incident, the badailants locked her in the bedroom and threw the keys on the speaker.
