Lady Barbara Windsor now needs 24-hour nursing because Alzheimer means she can not be alone

Scott Mitchell, Lady Barbara Windsor's husband, has revealed that her Alzheimer's disease is now so severe that she needs 24-hour nursing and that she can not be left alone .

The 81-year-old television legend now has flashbacks when she grew up in Stoke Newington and Scott revealed that she was "very emotional".

Addressing the Sun, Scott said that he "usually" was stuck in the house for two or three days "and that he would feel" very guilty of to have left it ".

He went on to say that this guilt had appeared when the caregivers first arrived at Lady Barbara, but he realized that when they were there, it was a sign for him to to make a break.

Scott said, "It is very important for me to rest a little bit of the situation, otherwise you will not be able to stay strong."




He said it was important because "you have to stay strong for the other person".

By relieving the symptoms of Alzheimer's disease, Scott is increasingly interested in music therapy, claiming it has helped Lady Barbara's memories.

Scott said that they perform songs from Barbara's career, which has earned the former EastEnders' matriach to be recognized and warm.
